Crow Tribe opens apartment complex for homeless veterans

The Crow Tribe of Montana dedicated the Apsaalooke Warriors Complex on Tuesday.

The facility in Crow Agency. provides housing for homeless tribal veterans. It features 15 units that will help warriors get back on their feet.

“I’m hoping when I’m here I can get a job, move into a bigger place and let somebody else get things started here,” veteran Christopher St. Germaine, one of the first residents, told The Billings Gazette.

The tribe sold tax credits to raise $2 million to build the facility, the paper reported.
