Community on Crow Reservation on lockdown due to shooting

Two schools in a community on the Crow Reservation in Montana were on lockdown due to a shooting.

Multiple people were shot in Pryor, Big Horn County Undersheriff Bart Elliot told the Associated Press. One person who was suffering from a gunshot wound was transported to a hospital, the AP said.

There are possibly two more victims, The Billings Gazette reported. The county coroner was on the scene, reporter Casey Page and photographer Jordon Niedermeier said on Twitter.

Local law enforcement and the Bureau of Indian Affairs responded to the incident. A possible suspect has been apprehended, KULR reported on Twitter.

Pryor is located near the western border of the reservation.
