Interior Secretary Sally Jewell will deliver the commencement address at Haskell Indian Nations University on Friday. The educational institution in Kansas is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year. Over 200 students are graduating this year. "Secretary Jewell will be the first Secretary of the Interior to speak at Haskell making her the highest-ranking administration official to speak at the Haskell Commencement Ceremony," the university said on Facebook. The ceremony takes place at 10am on Friday. Jewell will be available for media at noon, according to an advisory. After the ceremony, Haskell opens its commencement powwow on Friday night.
