The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold a business meeting and oversight hearing on Wednesday. S.710, a bill to reauthorize the Native American Housing Assistance and Self Determination Act, is the only item on the agenda for the business meeting. The House already passed its version, H.R.360, so action in the Senate represents significant progress to renew a law that expired in September 2013. The business meeting will immediately be followed by an oversight hearing on road safety in Indian Country. The witness list follows:
