CBC News will be publishing a new list of missing and murdered Native women and girls in Canada. An official report from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police cited nearly 1,200 cases between 1980 and 2012. But CBC points out that some Native women and girls never made it into the system because no one ever bothered to investigate. "Nobody ever cared about anybody. Nobody. Well, I need justice for my mom, too," Lisa Clipping, whose mother, Marjorie Clipping, was murdered on the Sayisi Dene First Nation in Manitoba. Annie Yassie was only 13 when she went missing from the same community in 1974. Her case will be the oldest on CBC's list when it is published later this week. Get the Story:
