Oklahoma newspaper praises the Muscogee Nation for repaving roads at Bacone College:
The Muscogee (Creek) Nation’s help to build roads on the Bacone College campus is to be applauded. It also highlights the seminal role of the tribe in the college’s history.

The tribe funded more than two miles of new paving with help from federal roads funding, and the school and the Creeks may have even more ambitious projects in mind.

Bacone College is a unique Muskogee institution and a historically significant part of the community. The school continues to grow, and help from the tribe is part of that.
