A Tribe Called Red breaks ties with founding member DJ Shub

The award-winning and critically-acclaimed Native DJ group A Tribe Called Red appears to have parted ways with one of its founding members.

The group's website, Facebook and Twitter accounts no longer list DJ Shub as a member. On those sites, he has been replaced by 2oolman, another Native DJ.

APTN first noticed the shakeup after another musician brought it up on Facebok. DJ Shub wouldn't say whether he had been kicked out but it appears the situation is getting messy.

“We are waiting to hear from lawyers right now and an official statement will be released then if that’s what’s going on,” DJ Shub told APTN.
