Corporate sponsors are keeping their distance from the embattled Washington NFL team even after some were quick to condemn racism in the NBA. Anheuser-Busch said there was no room for "intolerance in the NBA, in sport, or anywhere else for that matter" after Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling was barred for making racist comments about African Americans. But the firm has failed to comment about the NFL team's disparaging mascot despite repeated requests from The Washington Business Journal. The Journal also called Bank of America, Ticketmaster, Kayem Franks and and Ameritel Corp. to ask about their corporate relationships with the Washington NFL team. The response was primarily silence. "It's not our place to have a decision on the name," David Kaufman, the president and CEO of Ameritel, told the Journal. Get the Story:
