Dry Creek Rancheria to hold disenrollment hearings this week

The Dry Creek Rancheria of California is holding disenrollment proceedings this week.

More than 70 people face removal from the tribe. Included are brothers Stan and Gregg Cordova, both of whom previously served as chairman.

“It feels like a piece of you is getting ripped out,” Stan's daughter, Carmen, told KPIX-TV.

The Cordova family has an ancestor who was on the original tribal census. But they are being told they don't meet membership requirements.
