Audio from SCIA's hearing on early education in Indian Country





The Senate Indian Affairs Committee held an oversight on early childhood education in Indian Country this afternoon.

The hearing was the first to be chaired by Sen. Jon Tester (D-Montana). As a former teacher, he said he plans to make education a priority during his tenure.

The committee heard from two panels that included a federal official, tribal representatives and a researcher. Audio can be found on the Indianz.Com SoundCloud.
