Man from Meskwaki Tribe charged for murdering his parents





A 25-year-old member of the Meskwaki Tribe of Iowa has been charged with murdering his parents on the reservation.

Gordon Lasley Jr., 25, is charged with two counts of first degree murder. Authorities say he killed Gordon Lasley Sr., 60, and Kim Lasley, 57, at their home sometime on Wednesday.

Tribal police were the first to respond to the scene on Wednesday night. State and federal authorities are also investigating.
