A Tribe Called Red launches tour and prepares for new album

A Tribe Called Red kicks off its Turtle Island Tour tomorrow as it prepares to record a new album.

The group starts with three dates in Ontario before heading to the U.S. for a string of dates in the Midwest. Then it's back and forth between the U.S. and Canada until May, with more shows to be announced for the summer.

Preliminary sessions are also underway for the follow up to Nation II Nation . The album has secured two nominations from the Juno Awards.
