The
Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians
in Michigan elected new leaders on Monday.
Fred Kiogima was elected chair and his running mate Deb De Leon was elected chair. They easily defeated the ticket of Albert Colby Jr. and Dexter McNamara, who currently serves as chair, The Petoskey News-Review reported.
Voters also elected five seats on the council.
