Patricia Michaels outlasts most designers on Project Runway

With just six designers left in the competition, Patricia Michaels of Taos Pueblo has outlasted most of her colleagues on the latest season of Project Runway.

Michaels, the first Native designer to appear on the show, has repeatedly won praise from the judges for her unique looks and innovative techniques. However, she has yet to win a challenge despite making it through nine episodes.

Including tonight's show, only three episodes remain before the big finale. The judges typically pick three contestants to present a collection at New York Fashion Week so Michaels has an even shot at being chosen, given her record so far.
