A golf course owned by the
Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation
of Connecticut paid a $11,600 fine to the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration
, The New London Day reports.
OSHA launched an investigation after 15 employees suffered injuries and burns when the
Lake of Isles
course was struck by lightning. The course was cited for failing to protect employees, the paper reported.
The course is managed by a third party.
