Interior Secretary Ken Salazar
isn't sure he will stick around if
President Barack Obama
wins another term in office.
"I'm not going to look that far into the future," Salazar told The Denver Post "I'm working very hard on the job I have now."
Salazar, a former member of the
Senate
started his job on January 20, 2009. He has endured some controversy -- mainly the response to the
Deepwater Horizon oil spill
-- but he has had a favorable record on Indian issues, which include the settlement of the
Indian trust fund lawsuit
and support for the
Tribal Law and Order Act
.
