Santee Sioux Tribe hired man facing a sexual abuse charge

The Santee Sioux Tribe of Nebraska hired a man to work as a security supervisor even though he has been charged with felony sexual abuse.

Larry Rouillard is accused of attempting to engage in a sexual act with an Indian woman while she was incapable of consenting to the act. He was indicted last August and was hired by the tribe in February.

"You can count on him. He's dependable. He's reliable," Vice Chairman David Henry told The Sioux City Journal.

Rouillard is due to go to trial on May 31.
