Former Soboba Band chairman sentenced in bribery case

Robert Salgado, the former chairman of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians of California, was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison on bribery and tax evasion charges.

Salgado served as chairman for more than 30 years before he was indicted in October 2009.
