The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma broke ground on a new dialysis center in partnership with the Tahlequah City Hospital.
The center will be located next to the tribe's Redbird Smith Health Center. It will enable tribal members to receive care closer to home.
The facility is expected to open in the late summer or early fall of 2011.
