Native gang member a suspect in woman's death in Alberta
Police in Edmonton, Alberta, made an arrest in connection with the death of a 23-year-old woman.

The shooter may have connections to Redd Alert, a Native gang, CJOB reported. The shooter allegedly wore clothes associated with the gang and may have flashed a gang sign, CJOB said.

The victim was Heather Rae Thurier, a Native woman who lived in Edmonton. Police say Thurier probably knew the shooter.

The incident took place on Friday at a train station.
