Warm Springs company recovers after near shutdown
A company owned by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Spring Reservation of Oregon is bouncing back after nearly shutting down two years ago.

Warm Springs Forest Products Industries had laid off half of its employees in March 2008. But by the end of 2008, the company landed a contract with Vanport International to focus on Asian markets.

The company now has 123 people at work and just received a five-year extension on the Vanport contract, KBND reported.
