Senate committee hosts listening session on education
The Senate Indian Affairs Committee is hosting a listening session this afternoon on Indian education.
Congress is due to consider the the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The committee wants to gather information about tribal priorities for Indian education.
The session follows a briefing the National Indian Education Association held on Capitol Hill yesterday.
