Team Canada jersey features Native design

The new jersey for Team Canada features a design by Native artist Debra Sparrow.

Sparrow, a member of the Musqueam First Nation of British Columbia, contributed a thunderbird, the Keeper of the Skies, and an eagle, which represents freedom, to the design. The jersey also features maple leaves and the Nike "swoosh" logo.

The jersey will be worn during the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.
