North Dakota tribe breaks ground on housing
The Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation broke ground on a housing project on the Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota.

The project will provide 40 homes to tribal families. "A lot of this is a dream come true to the homeowner. They are going to be able to afford housing," council member Mervin Packineau told KFYR-TV.

As part of its "200+ Homes Initiative," the tribe plans to provide 210 affordable houses throughout the reservation.
