Enzi's Indian earmarks in $410B appropriations
Sen. Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) sponsored $760,000 in Indian Country earmarks despite opposing the $410 billion appropriations bill that was signed into law by President Barack Obama.

Enzi sought $475,000 for road construction on the Wind River Reservation and $285,000 for the Native American Indian, Alaskan and Hawaiian Educational Center in Sheridan. The earmarks were among $10.9 million he sponsored or co-sponsored.

Enzi voted against the Fiscal Year 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act.
