Colville man selected as BIA superintendent
A member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation is the new superintendent for the Spokane Agency of the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

John St. Pierre first started working for the BIA in 1988. He was most recently the deputy superintendent at the Spokane agency, which is located on the Spokane Reservation.

"We are very pleased that a Colville tribal member will be leading the BIA here," Jeanne Jerred, the chairwoman of the Colville Business Council, told The Omak Chronicle.
