Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe looks into wind power
The Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts is interesting in tapping into wind power on its reservation in Martha's Vineyard.

The tribe has conducted two studies to determine the feasibility of a wind turbine facility. A third study, using a 164-foot meteorological tower, is underway to find out the best place for a facility.

Tribal planner Durwood "Woody" Vanderhoop told The Martha's Vineyard Times the tribe should be able to evaluate the data collected by the tower by July 2009.
