Sen. Baucus names health advisory council
Sen. Max Baucus (D-Montana), the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, named tribal and Indian representatives to his health care advisory council.

Members include Pete Conway (Blackfeet), the Billings area director for the Indian Health Service; Kevin Howlett, the health director for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes; and James Melbourne, the health director for the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes.

Baucus, whose committee oversaw parts of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act, is running for re-election.
