Chippewa Cree Tribe heads to general election
The Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana will hold its general election on November 4 after narrowing the field for council candidates on Tuesday.

Raymond J. Parker Jr. and Jonathan Windy Boy were the top vote-getters for the chairman's post. Parker received 426 votes while Windy Boy received 364.

Eight candidates for four council seats will compete in the election.
