Indian primary winner faces familiar rival
Incumbent South Dakota state Sen. Theresa Two Bulls, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, survived a Democratic primary challenge in June but now faces the man she defeated in the November general election.

Two Bulls, who is supported by INDN's List, defeated state Rep. Jim Bradford by just 28 votes. But he has changed his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican in order to run against Two Bulls again.

"I'm hot under the collar about it," Two Bulls told The Rapid City Journal of the move. "To me, it's personal, to run just because I beat him in the primary."

Bradford, who was supported by INDN's List in the past but may not be an enrolled tribal member, can't run for his House seat due to term limits. He says he always supported Republican values.
