Yakama woman joins tribal program at nonprofit
Carol Craig, a member of the Yakama Nation of Washington, will be working for the Trust for Public Lands, a nonprofit organization.

Craig, who has worked for her tribe and the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, will serve as one of the coordinators of TPL's Tribal and Native Lands program. She will be visiting tribes throughout the Northwest and the Rocky Mountains, an area the includes Washington and Oregon.

The Tribal and Native Lands program helps tribes protect and restore their land base.
