Puyallup Tribe donates $685K to Tacoma zoo

The Puyallup Tribe of Washington is donating $685,000 over the next five years to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma.

The donation will help fund a new red wolf exhibit at the zoo. The zoo will be able to hire an architect to design the exhibit.

The money is also being used for Zoobilee, the Point Defiance Zoological Society’s annual fundraising event. The society is trying to raise $7.15 million for the zoo.
