Absentee Shawnee Tribe shares road funds

The Absentee Shawnee Tribe is sharing its Indian Reservation Road funds with Cleveland County, Oklahoma.

Commissioners voted on Monday to accept a mutual sharing agreement with the tribe. The county expects up to $500,000 to improve roads and bridges.

The tribe has shared its Bureau of Indian Affairs funds with other local governments
