Senate Indian Affairs hearing on law enforcement

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee is holding a field hearing today on law and order in Indian Country.

Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota) will char the hearing. He issued a concept paper last November that could lead to comprehensive legislation to address jurisdiction and law enforcement issues on reservations.

The hearing will be broadcast at 1:30pm Arizona time at http://wms17.streamhoster.com/lv_studiot. The witness list follows:
