Soo Tribe closes health center due to water damage

The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Michigan has temporarily closed its health center due to water damage.

A water line ruptured on the third floor of the center, causing damage. There were also reports that ongoing repairs at the facility caused unusual skin and respiratory conditions for some workers.

The tribe is continuing to offer some health care services at another location. It's not clear when the center will reopen but repairs are taking place all week.
