Notah Begay to play in tribe's golf tournament

Navajo/Pueblo golfer Notah Begay III is returning to the greens later this week to compete in the Gila River Indian Community's golf tournament.

Begay's appearance at the Gila River Golf Classic is part of his comeback effort. Since winning two PGA titles, he has suffered from chronic back problems. He is currently on a PGA major medical extension.

Begay returned to play earlier this year but a new injury resurfaced, forcing him to stop.
