Oneida woman offers training in 'How to Powwow'

If you want to learn how to behave at pow-wows, look to Mary Wyatt, a member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.

In preparation for the 51st annual Chicago Powwow, Wyatt and her children presented the "How to Powwow" course at a museum in Chicago. Attendees learned about pow-wow etiquette and tribal history and culture.

The Chicago American Indian Center, the nation's largest urban Indian center, sponsors the three-day pow-wow with $18,000 in prizes.
