California tribe says ancient village bulldozed

The Kashia Band of Pomo Indians is protesting development at an ancient village it says was destroyed by a bulldozer.

The tribe says workers at the Peter Michael winery destroyed the Se Epi Ama Cey village and took artifacts from the site. The tribe wants a monitor to oversee work on the 340-acre property.

The winery admits disturbing artifacts but says the village was not bulldozed. The winery won't agree to tribal oversight.
