Jury finds man not guilty for reservation accident

A federal jury acquitted a man from the Crow Reservation of Montana of killing his uncle in a drunk-driving accident.

Sean Three Irons, 34, had been charged with involuntary manslaughter. He was accused of killing his uncle, Dean Three Irons, 52, in an October 2002 accident in which alcohol likely played a factor.

The defense said witness accounts of the crash indicated it was unclear who was driving the truck at the time of the accident. Sean Three Irons had a blood-alcohol concentration of .25 percent. Dean Three Irons had a blood-alcohol concentration of .32 percent.
