Residents of the Alaska Native village of False Pass are being advised not to eat marine mammals due to concern over the deaths of as many 200 birds of several species.
Villagers are worried what might be causing the deaths. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is testing some of the bird carcasses to find out what's going on.
THe False Pass Tribal Council, in the east Aleutian Islands, says fish are still acceptable to eat.
