Navajo police dog credited with $1M marijuana bust


A Navajo police dog named Tarpez is being credited with a $1 million marijuana bust in Arizona.

Tarpez came to the aid of the Arizona Highway Patrol, who became suspicious of a tractor-trailer. Inside, police found 698 pounds of suspected marijuana. The two occupants of the rig were charge with transportation of marijuana for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Another unnamed Navajo police dog was also involved.
