More and more Indian students in Minnesota are passing the state's 10th grade writing test.
The passing rate for Indian students was 81 percent, the third highest rate. White students passed at a rate of 94 percent and Asian students passed at a rate of 83.3 percent.
The state's Education Commissioner said improvements need to be made to close the achievement gap between Whites and minorities.
