A young Montana couple who met at a pow-wow as high school students are continuing the tradition as college students and parents.
Richard and Amber Walks Over Ice are the head man and head woman dancers at Rocky Mountain College's pow-wow, which takes place this Saturday. They are bringing their 5-year-old and 3-year-old to participate.
Richard, a member of the Crow Tribe, is studying business management at Little Bighorn Community College. Amber, a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, is majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry at RMC.
