Agua Caliente Tribe holding election for council slots


Members of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians of California are voting today for the chairman and two council seats.

According to The Palm Springs Desert Sun, chairman Richard Milanovich is running for re-election. The paper said it didn't know if there was a challenger.

Council seats held by Jeannette Prieto-Dodd and Virginia Siva are up for grabs. The tribe does not release the names of candidates and won't announce the results until March 26.
