Two Congressional committees will hold hearings on President Bush's fiscal year 2005 budget on Wednesday.

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will take testimony from government officials from different agencies, including the Bureau of Indian Affairs. This hearing was to have occurred earlier this month but was rescheduled due to the ricin scare in the Senate. For more information see http://indian.senate.gov.

The House Interior Appropriations Subcommittee will hear on the Department of Interior's budget from Secretary Gale Norton. She is the only scheduled witness. Fore more information see http://appropriations.house.gov.
