The Prairie Island Indian Community of Minnesota debuted a $19 million casino expansion on Tuesday.

The 40,000 square-foot addition at the Treasure Island Resort and Casino features an indoor water park dubbed The Lagoon, an upscale spa and a fitness center. The tribe hopes to draw more families to the facility.

“The Lagoon water park and Wave Spa are key elements in the continued growth of Treasure Island," President Shelley Buck said in a press release. "These new amenities will truly round out the resort aspect of what we offer our guests and will position us to be the favorite Midwest vacation destination."

The tribe broke ground last May.
