The Bois Forte Band of Chippewa saw a 3.5 percent increase in gaming revenues in 2015, The Mesabi Daily News reported.

Chairman Kevin Leecy disclosed the growth in the annual State of the Band address on January 28. It comes after the tribe saw a 6 percent decline at the Fortune Bay Resort Casino in 2014.

“Our biggest medium range challenge will be the next generation who don’t gamble as much as our generations do," Leecy told tribal members, the Daily News reported.

Leecy said the tribe will invest on non-gaming aspects at the casino because they continue to show growth.
