The Nisqually Tribe of Washington opened the second phase of a $45 million casino expansion project earlier this month

The tribe added a two-story, 40,000 square-foot smoke-free area to the Red Wind Casino with more than 600 slot machines and table games. There's also a new deli, a full-service bar, a gift shop and administrative offices.

Work continues on the third phase of the project, expected to be complete by July 2015. The tribe is renovating the existing gaming floor, buffet and grill, and will be adding a new seafood bar.

The first phase was a 600-space garage that opened in late October. When all three parts are finished, the casino will double in size to 95,000 square-feet.
