The Choctaw Nation has completed one part of a major expansion at its casino in Durant, Oklahoma. The Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant now features an 11,000 square-foot pool area dubbed The Oasis. There are two pools, seven spas, two bars, fire pits and cabanas. "We're trying to develop more of a resort experience for our guests as they come up to the casino and the hotel, so they can enjoy not only the gaming side of it, but more of a resort type of environment," pool and spa director Mark Amoriello told KTEN. The tribe is still working on a second hotel tower, conference center, bowling alley, a movie theater and events center at the casino. The project is expected to debut next summer. Get the Story:
