Hard Rock International,
owned by the Seminole Tribe
of Florida, has withdrawn plans for a casino in Atlantic City.
The tribe proposed a $465 million facility on the boardwalk. But the economic climate wrecked those plans.
“Hard Rock International has decided not to move forward with an application for a potential hotel-casino development in Atlantic City, due to current market conditions,” the company said in a statement, according to news reports.
